How to Prepare for Pennybrook

It's a festival! So be prepared... Here are some tips for what to bring to Pennybrook Festival.

1. IT'S NOVA SCOTIA! DRESS FOR EVERYTHING...
The weather on the South Shore of Nova Scotia is wonderfully changeable. Be sure to bring WARM CLOTHES and RAIN GEAR, whether you're staying just for one day or all weekend.

2. STAY HYDRATED
Water. It's important. There will be water facilities on site, but it's good if you can bring as much of your own DRINKING WATER as possible. And bring a reusable metal water bottle or two. Plastic sucks...

3. THE SUN DOES SHINE HERE TOO!
Sunscreen is a must. And a funky festival hat is a good idea too. Unless hats aren't your thing...

4. YOUR DONATIONS KEEP THE MUSICIANS ALIVE
This entire festival is by donation. Be as generous as possible. Support live music and living musicians. They are excited to give you an amazing weekend of entertainment!

5. EVERYONE LIKES TO EAT
If you're camping for the whole weekend, be prepared to cook for yourself and your group. There will be some food available for purchase on-site, but the more you can take care of yourself, the better. We are also planning a big potluck during the weekend, so you're welcome to contribute to that and share the awesome with your fellow festival-goers.

6. RESPECT THE LAND
Pennybrook Farm in West Dublin, NS is a private residence, owned and managed by festival founder Jude Pelley. Be respectful of the land and its full-time occupants. We're all here to have fun. Taking responsibility for your own trash and recycling makes it more fun for everyone!
